Retractable bollards have been developed to provide safe access to the vehicles in restricted areas.

When access is restricted, the bollard is usually on the UP position and prevents vehicles from getting through.

When bollards are in DOWN position, pedestrians and vehicles can safely pass over them. Retractable bollards are strong enough to take the weight of the cars and cause no obstacles to the pedestrians (no tripping risk).
