Traffic calming device with LED display for speed indication This project is composed by two traffic calming displays, in order to control the traffic speed inside the Sociedade Central de Cervejas facilities. The device has a speed radar measuring the speed at which the vehicles travel, presenting those numbers at the LED display. The display has two colours: green, when the vehicle respects the speed limit determined up above, and red, in case the vehicle runs at a speed above the limit. The system is powered by solar energy, thus not requiring any type of external power and there is, however, a version of the system with power from the mains.
